Paint & Hide
Paint yourself to match the wall before the seeker walks past
About Paint & Hide
A little bean-shaped kid stands flat against a painted wall, plain white and easy to spot. You have a few seconds to paint the kid so it blends into the wall behind it: pick up the wall's colours from the paint pots, or tap the wall itself to sample a colour, then brush over the kid. A live match score shows how well you blend.
When time runs out, or when you press Hide, a round little seeker robot walks in and sweeps its torch across the wall. Score high enough and it scratches its head and wanders off. Fall short and it points straight at you. Every wall is a new pattern (stripes, dots, checks, waves, bricks, clouds, flowers, rainbows), and each level asks for a closer match in less time.
What is different about this version
It is a hiding game where the hiding is a painting. There is no running or ducking. You win by looking closely at a pattern and copying it onto yourself.
How to play Paint & Hide
- Pick a colour from the paint pots, or tap the wall to sample the colour you need.
- Drag over the kid to paint. The brush button switches between a small and a big brush.
- Match the colour of the wall right behind each part of the kid, and watch the match score climb.
- Press Hide when you are done. Time you have left becomes bonus points.
- Beat the match target and the seeker walks past. Miss it and you are found.

Strategy
Paint the big shapes with the big brush first, then switch to the small brush for the edges where two colours meet.
Mistakes that cost you the game
- Painting the whole kid one colour. The wall behind it is almost never one colour.
- Waiting for the timer instead of hiding early for the bonus.
Tips
- Sampling from the wall is faster than hunting for the right pot.
- The eyes never need painting. Everything else does.
